hi

i'm a DLP virgin and was just wondering if anyone had any experience of transfers from the airport, ive read people having problems with the shuttles and was looking at whether a private transfer or taxi is better and is it a lot of difference in price and is it worth it? i was looking at the train but was just worried about if there are any delays on the flight or getting our luggae etc. sorry for all the questions

Hi :)

You can get the train from CDG airport, or - a lot of people use http://ezyshuttle.com/ and rate it pretty good!

On my first trip, I got a shuttle transfer from a random company, but to be honest - it just seemed like a black van (no logos etc) and a few guys running it.. wouldn't reccomend.

We used ezyshuttle in March and they were great. No messing about they were they at the doors waiting for us once we collected our bags. Think it was €70 each way. I am booking them again for our next trip. Can't comment on the bus transfer as our flights arrive late at night and we wouldn't be in time for the bus.

We used the VEA transfer buses the first two times we went to DLP. The second time was a nightmare so we said never again. Think it depends what terminal you fly into our bad experience was from terminal 3.

We have used Tio Shuttle every time since they have always been reliable, you pay cash when you get there, they provide childrens car seats and it is cheaper than the VEA shuttle bus.

We are a party of ten this time:
Tio shuttle 140 euros way
VEA 170 Euros each way

A lot of the shuttles that people refer to are really private transfers if that makes sense! The shuttle bus is the VEA we've used this on previous trips and never had problem with it, it's always been included in our package in the past so ts been a no brainer. As it stands we need to work out transfers this time the option is a private transfer, VEA bus or take the TGV fast train. From what I've priced up a private transfer is around 70euro, VEA 53euro and TGV £40 for 2 adults and 1 child. I cant be bothered dragging our cases from HNY to the train station and like you worry about delays, I'm leaning towards getting the VEA bus again right now.

We've always used Ezyshuttle and would highly recommend them - great service, choice of car seats for children, friendly drivers who speak English, and they will do WHATEVER it takes to get you to the airport on time!! :thumbsup2

After reading a few reviews on the shuttles i am leaning towards getting a taxi, are there many available at the airport and does anyone have any idea on cost please

the very 1st time we went to disneyland we got a taxi and it was in and around 55euros one way, we have also used vea shuttles, bit of a wait and a total scrum to get on the bus. we last were in disney in 2009 and used john from ezyshuttle, he was very nice and was waitin at the airport with our names on a board no hanging around we headed straight to our hotel, for this years trip we have also booked with john as we would have to cross terminals to get the vea shuttle and with having a lil one with us we just decided it suited us better to have a private shuttle and start enjoying our disney trip asap. cost of this shuttle was 70 each way for 2 adults and 1 child.
