Just switched to POP for Labor Day weekend!

I was clued in by the CM I spoke with on Monday that today was the day to call to see if those first day Free Dining reservations were cancelled and put back into the system. She was right...today's CM even asked if I wanted standard or preferred. So if you're hoping to downgrade or move over from AllStars...call TODAY!

When I checked online yesterday there was plenty of availability at just about every resort (I think CSR was the exception). I though maybe they just added more rooms -- didn't even think about the cancellations already starting.

Me too! I just happened to check on line tonight and found full availability at POP and ASMovies. We had ASMusic booked for 8/26 - 9/2. I called and was able to switch my res to POP for same dates. I booked standard but I was offered preferred. I was so excited. We have all our ADRs, the Segway Tour and Cirque scheduled. Only 4 months to wait!!

I hope more rooms opening at POP means less people at AS MU. I want a quiet stay! No offense, but I hope POP is at 100% capacity and AS MU is at 50%

We were initially booked at POP, but I had my TA change us to ASMu. I liked POP well enough but would like to "sleep" my way through the 'values' then on to the 'moderates'.

Yep...POP is going to be extremely busy during free DDP. But on the bright side, we have no idea what percentage of rooms are being used for the promo so it may not be as bad as it seems.
