The secret is out!!! I planned a surprise trip for DD and decided that I couldn't keep the secret any longer. I plopped a fanny pack with sunscreen next to her and made her guess. When I put on my Mickey ears she figured it out really quick!!:rolleyes1 We are at the 10 day mark. I know she loves to anticipate and plan as much as I do, so now the secret is out! We just made our order to Garden Grocer and tomorrow we'll go to Target for essentials! :drive: 7 days of just my princess and I at the happiest place on earth! Our first time at Saratoga Springs too! Just had to bubble here at the place where everyone understands!:disrocks:

Awesome!

Our DD doesn't know yet and its hard to keep the secret! She is only five but she is smart and knows something is up!

So good for you to keep it this long!:thumbsup2

Let's see...my DD is 14 and she and I love the travel aisle at Target. We get contact solution, hand sanitizer, mini vaseline, little tissue packs, lip balm, mini sunscreen to hold us until the luggage arrives. I'm always scouting out cool clothing, if there is such a thing for FL summers! How about you?:confused3

so I was at Target for some essentials, what are your must haves

Sunscreen, after sunscreeen!, shampoo/cond. body lotion, CDs for DVR, first aid kit (advil/bandaids/first aid cream/cough syrup/blister cream etc..), toothbrush/paste, Qtips, razors/gel, nail polish/remover, memory card for camera, peds (I dont like to walk barefoot on the floor!!) autograph book....

Thanks!! We are in the single digits as of today! Love to watch that ticker!

I definitely recommend the Mother Daughter trips. This will be a fourth for my DD and I. We have seemed to stay longer each time. Our trip in February included dear old Dad and although we love him dearly! He kind of cramped our style. We have our own way of approaching our trips and he wasn't exactly in the same rhythm. Okay, maybe we're sort of disney crazed, but we love every minute of our time and he just didn't get the same thrill as us. So, 9 more days and we are off - just the girls. Mothers...grab your daughters and have some very special Mickey time!!!:cheer2:

DD and I are eagerly anticipating our 6th mother-daughter trip coming up in August! We are looking forward to some quality girl time. My DH only wants to do Disney every 3-4 years, so what are two Dis obsessed girls to do but to go ahead without him?! My DD just graduated high school last month and is heading off to college a few days after we return from Disney. I'm hoping she will still want to do our mother-daughter thing after she leaves home, but who knows? So I want to enjoy these moments while I can.

I don't have a daughter. Sob, sob. My youngest DS's likes to go, for the food. :sad2: I'm taking DBF in Dec. I'm hoping for a new WDW travel companion, but he doesn't like the rides. So I'm not holding my breath.
