Just starting to plan Thanksgiving 2014

We will be booking thru Rci. Likely at Sheraton Vistana Resort. Wondering if we stay a couple nights on site before moving off site if we will get magic bands and have access to fp+ and perks of onsite beyond our onsite dates. The flights are a little cheaper a few days earlier and then we could extend our stay and experience a couple nights on site. Thoughts and advice greatly appreciated

I only had to book 1 night at the all stars and link my tickets. I've already scheduled my Fp+. Were also staying at Viaitana for a week.
