Just spoke with my sister....

and unless something drastic happens in January -- my sister, BIL, and nieces will be joining us in October. I'm so excited! My nieces are 7 and 5 and they've never been to WDW before. The best part is that they are huge animal lovers, so we're already booked in a dedicated 2br in Kidani at AKV for October 2009. I told my sis that there was no pressure -- if they change their minds before then, we're still going and we'll still use the 2br, it'll just be more room for us.

Now comes the fun part -- trip planning. I'm planning on giving my sister a WDW guidebook and letting them choose if and where we'll do sit-down meals, and how many meals we all plan on eating together. The great thing is my sister loves planning trips as much as I do and her two girls get along great with my daughter. My son is a little less excited than his sister, but he's going to WDW so he'll be happy anyway. We love the World and we're looking forward to introducing them to one of our favorite vacation spots.

Now if only my brother and his family could go too -- I'd be happy to try and switch to a 3 bedroom villa!

Sounds like a fun time! 7 and 5 year old nieces who have never been to WDW will be the best. I love taking people who have never been before, as it helps refresh how really special WDW is.

Sounds great. 7 and 5 will be the perfect age for them to start building Disney memories. Pretty soon they'll be saying "remember when we went to Disney for the first time with our favorite Aunt Kim"cloud9:. I will be taking my DSIS, DBIL, and two nieces 4 and 18 months in December 2009 and planning on a dedicated 2 bedroom at the VWL. While the 18 month old will definitely not remember I hope that the 4 year old will. My 4 year old nephew definitely remembers as he talks about alot and always asks when he can go back with me. Do enjoy and be sure to add a character meal as I think the girls would love it. What about Chef Mickey's? Have a great time.

I am taking my sister and BIL and Niece (1) and Nephew (5) a day and a half after my wife and I get back next month. They have never been and I am very excited to show them around. I will be spending half the month at WDW next month.
