be prepared to sit and weep for a few minutes when you first walk into walmart...the prices are enough to make anyone cry
and then there are the outlet places......oh i miss you USA....
I keep telling myself it's all relative though. The wages for workers in the US would be a heck of a lot less than what we earn here, so I'm sure it all balances out in the end. BUT with our strong dollar here right now you'd expect to see prices a lot lower than they are, and not just on electrical items. My dream U.S purchase would be a KitchenAid mixer with pasta maker and mincer attachment but I couldn't justify the cost of the postage to get it home then the voltage converter to use it here for the amount of baking etc that I do.
