I got a flickr account on recommendation from a friend that I work with. I welcome criticism or compliments. I only have a few up for now but there is more to come.

if I am not allowed to post links let me know and ill take it down. :thumbsup2

They look pretty nice. You have enough posts to post link and embed shots in your posts. Use the little button that looks like a couple hills with a yellow background. If you hover over it, it will say, "Insert Image".

Two things, first that's not the "Sea Pavillion" it's the Imagination Pavillion. Second of all, I recommend looking into doing some Vignetting correction as I think you would like the result of the effort. The compositions are great and I think it'd be even better without this distraction.

Thanks and I could not remember which pavilion it was. I also took your suggestion and re-edited the photos that the vignetting was on and you are right they look better. I got a little over zealous with the RAW editing capabilities of photoshop.

I tried the embed image icon, does flickr not allow embedding? I might be missing something but Im thinking that embedding the image will put an image in my post instead of just an address that you can view the image.

I tried to put it in the post so people would not have to look at the link but it just puts an address up. Does flickr not host images? and if they do not is there another free site similar that will hold my images to view and to host for free?

Sorry, I don't know about whether Flicker allows it.....Photobucket is one that does and is free.

Flickr does allow embedding images. If you click on a photo in Flickr, click on the All sizes link on the top of the image and at the bottom of the page is the link to insert into a post.

While we're correction captions - the one shot is the Odyssey building at Epcot, not the Horizons restaurant. There was never a Horizons restaurant; there used to be a ride called Horizons where Mission Space stands now.

For posting pictures, I usually manually enter the BBCode tags, but you can use the button, too. Right-click the photo you want to put in your photo on Flickr and copy the image location (that's the wording on Firefox, I'm not sure about IE), then paste it inbetween the image tags. It should look like this, except without the "(without this part) " at the beginning. (I had to add that as Disboards apparently doesn't respect the "code" tag like it's supposed to and puts the image in regardless! Otherwise I'd put it in as "code" which is supposed to show you raw text.)

...which gives you this:
