Just so you know.. WDW does not sell Disney Dollars over the phone

Just wanted to let everyone know, it seems as though the Disney Stores have been running out of Disney Dollars, and won't get re stocked until the 2005 editions come out for the Happiest Celebration on Earth, so likely not until May.

WDW doesn't sell Disney Dollars over the phone or on their website-- you may only purchase them from WDW when you are there in person. Only Gift Certificates in denominations of $25 and $50 are sold through WDW over the phone.

I called last Sunday and was told that I could order DD over the phone. The CM I spoke to said I could buy(with a credit card) $50.00 and pay a $10.00 shipping fee. Another option was to send in a check (maxium amount was @ $600.00) pluse $10.00 shipping fee.

I decided to purchase them when we get there.

I spoke with Guest Relations earlier today and the CM told me the above information that I posted.. that you can't buy Disney Dollars through 407 W-Disney or ticketing. She said that unfortunately, misinformation has been given over the phone, as she has had problems with this all week. I have since spoken to her after reading your post and she will be checking with merchandise mail order tomorrow to see if they might have a different policy regarding the sale of the Disney Dollars over the phone.
