Reading another post on here yesterday I decided to smash open my terramundi style pot (costs a fiver instead of £20+!)

And I have £1130.50 in there!!

:banana::dance3::yay::dance3::banana:

This is only since february, putting in 50p plus, and notes as well. Anything I had left at the end of the day, be it 50p or £50 I put in the jar, omg! :D

I did it last year too and got £800+ in a few months too!

Off to buy another pot and start again :D

I couldn't wait till it was full! I've just bought a new car so needed some cash to buy more stock for my business, nice start lol

wow:thumbsup2...but it would add up quickly with notes in it as well..I couldn't afford to do notes but have been well and truly spurred on to get myself a pot as well:) Looked them up on Amazon..lordy they are expensive:scared1:
Going do find something else to lob it in to.;)

Oh you could, most of it was fivers!

Don't get a real terramundi one, got to concordextra.co.uk and search for pot. You'll find pot of dreams pots, much cheaper and do the same job, come in different sizes and loads of designs!

Or you can get metal tins that you need to open with a tin opener from places like Poundland, Home Bargains and B&M. They're usually only a couple of pound :thumbsup2

I'm guess I must be old fashioned (or just still childlike ;) ), I use a (porcelain) piggy bank - no need to smash anything I just pull the stopper out the bottom :lmao:

Seeing all these posts is really giving me the urge to open up mine now though! :)

Sorry it's concordextra.com!

The problem with the piggy banks you can open is you can dip into it! lol

I had the tins and they don't fit much in, the pots are bigger and it's so satisfying getting a hammer and smashing it open lol

I had two tins from poundland last year one cinderella one mickey and minnie and we had £220 in one and £116 in the other. I was really shocked buy how much just change and the odd note added up to in a few months.
DD has one and so do I again and i put another £20 in each yesterday.
I have a latge coke bottle as well but keep dipping into it:rolleyes:So a tin opener is more hassel. Love the pots but no concord extra in my area as far as I know. Great idea though:thumbsup2

Wow - windfall!! :goodvibes

I am still squirrelling away £2 coins - I'll never have as much as you saved up though! Well done - make sure you buy lots of lovely things!

They deliver, I think they are based in Wales so nowhere near me!

You never know, I wasn't expecting that much!

Unfortunately it'll all be spent on more Pandora Jewellery stock, I've had to buy a new car so all spending is done for this month, it's all going back into the business lol

Wow well done!!!
you can buy them half price from Clintons and birthdays, mine cost £4.99 :)

Wow brilliant I have been doing one since good Friday it has £530 so far YAY

WOW that is so good, well done you. I don't have a pot or a tin just a savings account and a lot of will power ...... I like to see the numbers go up everytime I make a deposit :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Well done :)

I think our best efforts were around £600.

Same - I must admit, you have to wonder how much is being put in and how often to get that amount. I worked out you must have been putting in around £80 a week - if only I had that kind of spare cash :rotfl:
