A little over an hour so far... the TVs still work (strange) but nothing else, including the fridge. People who have come back from the front desk have little info other than it's the one and two bedrooms, not the studios, although can't confirm that.

Horrible rain earlier, but ended before power outage.

Wow. That is really strange that the TV's would work but nothing else. And very unusual for a WDW resort to be without power as everything is underground. Must be a nearby sub-station or similar problem. Does Kidani have power?? I live closeby and we did have a terrific storm this evening…. hope your power is on SOON!!

Update... woke up around 1:30 am and the power was on. I'm not sure if it came on earlier or it woke me up as it came on but all is back to normal, plus we were given 3 extra fast passes for a park of our choice for the trouble (we didn't ask for it, it was offered). If the power was still out this morning we were going to ask for some reimbursement for the food in the fridge, but it seems like it's all OK.

I can confirm that it didn't affect the studios. At least not the value studios.

Usually when some stuff works, it's because one phase of power went out. That would be an interesting design if all studios were on one phase.

We were to be at Jambo last night, but our plane was cancelled due to radar failure around DC. Cannot get to MCO until Monday now, and SW booked us on non direct flight out of PHL at 6:45 AM.

Wow-no electricity, no radar. Gremlins at work? Thank goodness I've never encountered no power at a resort. And am I correct that that means no air conditioning either? Now that would really stick (probably literally!)
