Wish me luck and pixie dust.
Just submitted a contract for 50 points at Hilton Head. 
I have been lurking here in DVC land for quite some time. Not always a healthy thing to do.
We decided to go with a small contract at Hilton Head because: 1) We can pay cash and the MF (that always looks like a dirty word to me 
) will not be cumbersome; 2) It's a good way to "test the water"; 3) We enjoy Hilton Head and would like to go there in the summer (need 11 month advantage); 4) We would be happy at any of the DVC resorts at WDW; and 5) If we love it like we think we will, we can look into adding points at AKV.
Used TTS. What a great experience so far. I called them late Tuesday afternoon and by that night already had the offer submitted and contract sent to me - with "sale pending" on the listing. WOW
My head is still spinning.
