I went to four stores today before I was lucky enough to find one!!! I was very happy when I walked in EBGames and the guy told me he had literally just unboxed two teal ones. I asked the price and to see it. :rotfl2: Tha is funny because I had to buy it reguardless of the price. But I was happy to find it was the smae price as Best Buy, Target and TRU. My DS is using his birhtday money to pay me back to give this to his sister.

Our stores out here have lots of the teal ones, but the lilac ones are very rare. I got one teal and one lilac today...congrats for us!! :wave2:

hello,
i would like to trade someone a pink for a teal if anyone is interested.New in box.I cannot find the pink one.I call all day every day trying to find pink and cant find one. Thanks
Dee

My wife is a happy camper. She found the pink one the other day at target. Lol thought she was going to cry when she got it. :rotfl2:

Cheers: :cool1:

Ok, I'm so out of the loop here. What are Nintendogs? Sounds interesting :)

nintendogs is actually a game for the nintendo Ds system. My 9 y.o loves animals anyway and has been wanting the DS system.I am trying to get the pink one because it is "girly".I am going to sell her gameboy advance sp to buy her the new DS system. So i am on the hunt for a pink one.I called my TRU and Targets all day today and no luck. The game is interactive with a touch screen!Kids are just crazy over them!
Good luck to all and Happy Holidays!!!

That sounds so fun! I looked up the game online too. I'm 28 and I would love it so I can imagine the kids are going nuts for it! Where was this stuff when I was little. We didn't even have cable TV until I was like 12-13

THe guy at EBGames told me today that the pink ones are exclusive to certain stores and only a limited quantity has been made. Now whether this is true or not I do not know.

?????????????????????? Huh????? I am totally confused.

:rotfl:

I'm thinking the translation would be:

ynboced = unboxed

(my fingers do their share of slipping too)
;)

THanks!! I was trying to figure it out and for the life of me just could not figure out what it meant!! I thought it might be some new lingo that everyone knew about but me!!!!

I think the pink ones are only at TRU and Target. My target has teal but has never even heard of the pink. My local TRU says they're getting a shipment of pink ones in so I'm calling every day. At this point, I think it's going beyond the toy and more the hunt that's driving me. :confused3

Congrats on your find.
I bought a teal one for myself (my kids are always stealing it from me). I spend alot of time in the Mom SUV waiting for kids to get done practicing various sports. I love to play video games. I honestly haven't started playing the Nintendogs game yet, I've been playing SIMS 2.

As for the limited pink, I think Video Game people are still very sexist when it comes to their views of girls and wanting to play. My opinion is that they produced fewer Pink game consoles, because they expected fewer girls to want the new console. But with so many quality Role Playing and other non-violent games now available, girls are really getting into the video game craze. It has created a huge demand.

Figures - I bought the DS system and the Nintendogs game separately last month for DD's 9th b-day on Monday. I got her the sapphire blue system and the Chihuahua (sp?) game. She was estatic to get them both and isn't even aware of the bundles, but I did see a few teal bundles at Target yesterday. They are cute, but she's happy with what she got. I'm not sure she would have wanted the pink because all of a sudden she's a "tomboy" and not into girlie things. In any case, I'll keep an eye out for the pink bundles for those who want them. These may be a lucrative item to start selling on e-bay if I can get ahold of some......hmmmm.

yes it did mean unboxed....lol :rotfl2: sorry sometimes my fingers get on the wrong keys or one hand goes faster than the other.....

I type too fast and hardly every spell check

Sandie, no not yet, but I haven't looked. Had DD's b-day party for classmates this weekend. I'll be hitting Target again this week (before Thanksgiving) and will let everyone know if I was able to pick up a Pink bundle. Good luck to everyone with their searches!
