Just scored $120 in FREE Disney Money!

I finally got around to calling Verizon today to drop my movie package (nothing but crappy movies anyway). My new bundle saves me about $25 per month (even with faster internet), but the best part was the customer service rep telling me that they are sending me a $120 VISA gift card for signing a new 2-year contract. Takes about 6 weeks to get the card, we are going in December.

I'm not sure if they offer same things in every market (we have FiOS), but you might want to call them to check it out.

WOW.....that's awesome. I wish AT&T did something like that....I mean they offer the free upgrade phones if you sign a new 2 year agreement but sometimes we don't need a new phone LOL.

Oh.....well we don't get any other service for our home We live in the boonies and have our city service only, so maybe that is why we never get offered gift cards, they know we have no other choice LOL

We renewed our Verizon Triple Play via the website and are receiving a $240 gift card. They run different deals from time to time and I'm sure it varies by area. We had just gotten a letter telling us to call for a gift card in a lower amount when I decided to check onlne.

I have Verizon for cell phone, AT&T for landline & internet. Too bad, AT&T doesn't have a good deal for landline, cell phone & internet (DSL) - maybe I'd switch over.

But then again, maybe not. Verizon has better cell service in my area than AT&T.
