Just Saw "Whale Rider"

Wow, what a wonderful movie. My DD 12 and I both loved it. It's rated PG-13 for some pretty intense scenes at the beginning where the mother dies in childbirth. The movie is a bit of an emotional rollcoaster, and has an incredible young actress in the lead role. Such a good movie to see with your tween/teen girls! It even sneaks in some cultural information about New Zealand.
