...you won't be disappointed.

Pixar brings the heart again and it's a treat to return to the lives of these characters.

I honestly went into this movie not expecting a thing. #2 is easily a Top 50 Movie of All-Time for me and I was worried that #3 might sully its reputation in my mind.

Fortunately, that's not the case. The film ends on a perfect note and I truly hope Pixar doesn't "Shrekify" the franchise by milking this for another go-around. This flick ends beautifully (the final 30 minutes are close to perfection) and it deserves the accolades it will receive.

(As a shameless self-promotion, my full thoughts can be found via the link in my signature below.)

:3dglassesGot my tickets for Friday. Can't wait. Thanks!popcorn::

I can't see people not loving this. I'm sure you both will, too. Enjoy it!

seeing it Friday also. How did you get to see it before opening ?

Did you see it in 3D? Just checking. We got the free tickets through Disney Movie Rewards and I'm not sure if they can be upgraded to 3D or not. (Sure hope so!) Thanks for the review - we are looking forward to it! We are having a Toy Story movie night tomorrow! Can't wait for the weekend!

Good to hear. I'm happy that they didn't do a poor job with yet another sequel.

I, unfortunately, probably won't be able to see it until it gets to dvd. :(

I've been hearing wonderful things about it!!! Can't wait to see it, although it probably won't be for a few weeks.

Yay! I can't wait! I'm SO excited for this and I'm 21 lol (I was 6 when the first one came out and 10 when the second one came out and I remember going to see both of them) Normally I always go to the movies with my friends but we're all planning to see this one with our parents :rotfl2:

I haven't seen either movie in a LONG time - we have the first one on VHS and got rid of our VCR last year when we got an HDTV and never bought the second one. But I've seen a ton of previews for this one and I already love Ken and Trixie!

me too. baby in the house means no time at the movies :guilty: Though an exception might be made for Eclipse. I'm slightly obsessed. The way that they bring out DVD's I know that I will only be waiting a couple months.

I'm sure it will be very good, but it will take all of Pixar's magic to make it better than How to Train Your Dragon for best animated movie of 2010. :)

glad to here the good review:thumbsup2 I am taking the grandchildren to see it on sunday. Mary

Glad to hear it. Cant' wait to see it.

I manage a movie theater. We have to screen 3D movies prior to their release to make sure that there are no glitches in the hardware sent to us.

I liked How to Train Your Dragon quite a bit. In fact, I'd give both Toy Story 3 and Dragon a B+. When comparing the two, though, I'd give TS3 the edge simply because of the nostalgia factor it brings up. HTTYD was a huge step up for Dreamworks and quite impressive in terms of its exquisite look, but TS3 wins out because of the heart that's on display.

I loved it, although I thought it was a bit darker than the other two.

Bring tissues, that's all I have to say about that. Or in my case, a ShamWow.

Good to hear! DS and a group of his friends are going to the midnight showing tonight in 3D. They all feel this movie was made for them since they grew up with Toy Story and the movie has Andy going off to college which they are too. The rest of us will probably see it this weekend.
