Just saw the new PoC movie!!!

we saw it last night and loved it -- me, DD15 and DS10. were screening it for DS's 10th bday party and decided NOT to take all those 8-10 yr olds to see this movie -- 2 1/2 hours long and the digital scenes of the skeletons can be very scary.

the credits are extremely long, but worth waiting through to see the short additional scene

did anyone else notice the hidden mickey in one of the large explosions on the right hand side of the screen? we all spotted it! the scenes of debauchery on Tortuga look exactly like the ride, especially the people on the balconies, etc.

excellent, excellent movie. Does anyone else think William Turner was just absolutely adorable?

Oh, another thing -- what was that white thing hanging from CAPTAIN Sparrow's hair?!?!?!? Gotta love "WHY THE RUM!!!???" and "There'll be no living with her now."

My favorite line was "I could sing that song forever". LOL Many good moments in this movie. Keenercam, where have you been? Yes, lots and lots of people (mostly teenage girls) think Will Sparrow is adorable. Do a search for Orlando Bloom, and check out the Orlando or Orlando? thread on the Community board. Diana
