Just Saw Phone Booth & Anger Management

Phone Booth was intense. Great acting & suspenseful.

Anger Management was pretty funny. Not the best Adam Sandler movie, but it's worth a watch if you like his movies.

I didnt really care for Phone Booth either. To me, it was lame and predictable. Everything you saw in the movie you gathered from the previews! It wasn't because of who died or who didnt.

My 12 DS wants to see Anger Management with his friends this weekend. Do you think it is appropriate for a 12 year old? I'm torn as to whether or not to let him see it.

Ugh...count me into the group that thought Phone Booth was dull and dumb. And it certainly was not due to the ending. I agree that it was totally predictable and not very "action" packed!! I have to say though that the ABSOLUTE BEST LINE I have heard in sooooooo long came from that movie. Hope this is not giving away anything in the movie for someone, so if you don't want to know skip down:

***When the hooker was yelling about trying to use the phone and slapped the booth and then said "You done gone made me hurt my dick hand!"***

There was about 2 seconds of silence and then the WHOLE audience busted out laughing...it just wasn't the type of comedic line you expected in this type of movie.

The movie was also incredibly short. It was really not worth the money in my opinion, plus I had to hear about it from SO because he had wanted to go see the Vin Diesel movie, and I had insisted on PB because I thought it looked good.

Coloradobuffalomom, you might want to go to www.screenit.com where it gives full details on AM. My DS really wants to see it, too, but it looks too *graphic* for him (if you know what I mean), altho typical Adam Sandler!

Anger Mangement was a waist of $5.50! There were funny parts, but the story sucked, and the plot was dumb.
