The movie has the potential to be very violent, sensationalized and depressing, but it isn't and that's one reason why I give the producers/director huge credit.
This was an excellent film that really shouldn't be missed. You have to watch it carefully (I saw it twice and the second time was even better because I understood what was happening more and the significance of each seemingly minute character - "extras" in the clips often aren't extras at all - they turn out to play major parts so watch closely.). I even let my preteen/teen kids watch it (telling them to ignor the many F words and had them briefly close their eyes during a clip or two) because I found the subject matter to be of great value. It's a film that should make you think.
