Just saved even more off my Avis rental via Hotwire!

Woo hooooo!! I already had a rate with a discount code via Mousesavers, but I decided to check Hotwire just in case. They don't do one-way rentals (as in renting at MCO and dropping off at the Radisson) but you can click through to car companies they have special deals with. My total for a subcompact for the 1 day, 22 hour rental period I need the car was $93.61 with the best discount code I could find at Mousesavers (and I tried them all!) Through the Hotwire link, it came down to $79.64! That'll buy me a few more Malibu Coladas for sure. *grin*

If that doesn't work, just got to www.hotwire.com, click on car rentals, then on "one-way rentals."

We got a Full-size car thru Avis for a 16 hr. period for $47.99 including taxes, etc. using the mousesaver discount. You are paying alot! My confirmation says rate code M9. I would try again!

No, mine is high because it's a Thursday morning-Saturday morning rental... if I was doing a Saturday night stayover, it would be a lot less. Believe me, I tried every code out there -- some of the quotes were *really* high! And mine is for just under two days... yours is only 16 hours. For my time period with the rate you have, it would have been way higher.

Well, I considered that, but I'm already staying at the Radisson... I'm afraid it would be a big hassle to have to leave there, drive to the Budget place, and wait for their shuttle to take us to the port. Any thoughts on that?
