DW and I just returned from our trip - 1/19 thru 1/23 and thought I would give a summary of our meals

Preface - stayed on the Stay, Play and Dine plan so we had 4 snax, 4 CS and 4 TS each for our four night stay.

1/19 - Checked into POP around 5:30 pm, so was really too late to hit the parks. Went to DTD and while my wife wanted to eat at Planet Hollywood, the only ADR I could make was for 8:15. Walked around a bit and our stomachs made the decision for ust to eat earlier so we would up at Wolfang Puck Express Marketplace. Wife had Four Cheese Pesto pizza and I had the Spicy Chicken pizza. Both good but hers was especially tasty. for dessert, I had the creme brulee and she got the vanilla bean cheesecake. Brulee was tasty but her cheesecake was a bit "off" tasting. She had a diet coke and I had the tropical tea - its not sweetened.

1/20 - Breakfast had us using 2 of our snack creds. Literally fighting the crowds at Everything Pop. She had a bagel and I had a coffee cake. Coffee from our refillable resort mug.

Visited MK so lunch was at BoG. Arrived a little after noon and line was across the bridge and around the corner halfway to Gaston's fountain. CM told people it was a 90 minute wait (!!!) from the point which turned away a lot of people but we knew better - was more like a 25-30 minute wait. She got the Croque Monsieur with pomme frites and I got the braised pork. Both were tasty but enjoyed hers more. Fries were on the cool side. I got a bottled water and she got a diet coke. Triple chocolate cupcake for me (yum!) and she got the raspberry lemon cream puff. Very tart even to me and I like tart.

Snack - we were in Adventureland, so what else? Pineapple Dole Whip Float! Long lines for this stand but well worth the wait. Very refreshing!

Dinner was at Kona Cafe. Teriyaki NY strip steak for me and grilled lamb for her. Both very good but mine was cooked a tad more medium than the medium rare I asked for. Had the Raspberry Lava smoothie and she an iced tea. Loved my Banana-chocolate creme brulee but my wife's green tea infused cheesecake was......horrible.

1/21 - Breakfast again down in Everything Pop food court. I just had coffee but my wife had a croissant. Then off to an AK/DHS split day

Lunch was originally planned for 'cue at Flame Tree but my wife wanted asian, so after riding Expedition Everest, we did Anandapure Local Cafe (Yak & Yeti CS). She had the Honey Chicken and rice and I the Beef Lo Mein - also ordered an egg roll on the side. Diet Coke for her, rootbeer for me. Triple chocolate mousse for me and Banana pudding for her. Overall, decent for westernized chinese food (I'm Chinese). My wife especially liked the egg roll.

Left DHS for a 7:40 ADR at Boma. All we can say is that this is one of our favorite places to eat! Especially loved the Seafood Gumbo and Curried Lamb. Most of the choices we won't find anywhere else, but they were all good - the Durban Spiced Chicken was a bit dry was the only complaint here. And of course, had to try every.....single......dessert offering, lol!

1/22 - Snack creds down at Everything Pop food court for a couple of danishes and coffee before heading to Epcot.

Lunch was originally planned in Morocco and Tangerine Cafe but after we rode TT, DW decided she wanted some nachos so we went to La Cantina de San Angel. She ordered the nachos and I tried the Empanadas de Caso. Churritos with caramel sauce for dessert. Diet Coke for her and a mango Jarrito for me. This was definitely the worst meal of the entire trip! Empanadas were cold and tasteless - didn't finish. While DW enjoyed her nachos, they were nothing I couldn't get at Applebees. And they would be better, too. Churritos were OK. Definitely will not be back here.

Snacks - continued around World Showcase and wound up in France. Had to check out the recently re-opened Boulangerie Patisserie. DW had a Napolean and I had a Croque Monsieur. Two Lattes. Only used 2 snack creds and paid OOP for the lattes. Excellent!

Last dinner of our trip was at Monsieur Paul. Had 6:15 ADR's. Really enjoyed it when it was BdP and wanted to see what it was like now. Decor didn't change much. Wife had the Filet de boeuf grille forestier (beef tenderloin) and I had the Magret de canard aux epices (duck breast). Pineapple juice for me, iced tea for her as well as a couple of glasses of Bourdeaux (can't remember off hand which one). For dessert, she chose the Moelleux au chocolat noir et amandes croquant feuilletine, glace pralinee (warn chocolate and almond cake and praline ice cream) and I had the Entremets aux trois chocolat, glace au chocolat (three chocolate layer cake and chocolate ice cream). Used 2TS each and paid OOP for the wine. Hands down the best meal of the trip!

I know, not much of a review but just wanted to summarize what we ordered with the DDP - definitely got our money's worth!!!

Enjoyed reading.;) Thanks for mentioning the waiting situation at BOG. It's on my plan for late next week for lunch and I know when dd and I see a line that long we're going to back off, but if I know it's really not a 90 min wait we'll stay. The plan is to actually go as early as possible (I plan to have the quiche for my part 2 breakfast LOL!) And since dd hates breakfast she can have her little bag of mini muffins before we go to MK and by 11:00 she'll be ready for lunch. Then lunch #2 will be @ 3:00 at the Plaza.:thumbsup2

Glad to hear the french bakery was good!
Thanks for the reviews!!!
