Just returned from six nights at por 9/27-10/03. My wife and I celebrating our anniversary(34 years). This was the second year in a row staying on these dates. First time staying at a moderate after stays at the dolphin, swan, poly, wilderness lodge. We were impressed with the resort including the grounds, facilities, and quality of room.
Our main concern was the location as we always had alternative transportation(monorail, boats, walking) to always using buses. However the buses were not a problem this time of the year. With the ap price of $94+tax this was an excellent value compared to the deluxe prices.
Stayed in magnolia terrace 8592 parking lot view, however view at this resort is not that important since there is no balcony and being on the first floor we keep the blinds closed. The love bugs were out in force at the resort and were on our door sometimes getting in our room but got thru that okay.
Took advantage of the DDE as it was accepted at all the restaurants including the food court which was a surprise as this was not on the list of accepted places.
Any questions?
