Lost 15 lb over the last two weeks only a week of that though was at WDW. I did well but not perfect on my vacation. I considered with all of the extra walking I was doing I could have 1 "treat" a day. The best treat I had during vacation was the Fat Free Sugar Free Ice Cream at the Magic Kingdom Ice Cream shop on Main Street. It was VERY good chocolate vanilla swirl.

Most of the other "treats" were thing I don't get on the diet. I had 3 French fries at Pecos Bill (They accidentally gave me an order with my Chicken wrap.), 2 halves of corn bread muffins (on 2 different days), 1 square of Ghirardelli chocolate (free sample). I did though follow good SB protocol and eat them late in the meal so they would not rush into my blood stream quite so quickly.

Finding things to eat at WDW that were SB friendly was not terribly difficult and the variety was quite good. I ate all counter service restaurants. Some of the better meals I had were: Salmon with Green Beans at Animal Kingdom (replaced the rice with extra green beans), BBQ Chicken and Ribs with Cole Slaw at the land pavilion in EPCOT (used under a half a pack of BBQ sauce), Cobb Salad at Earl of Sandwiches DTD (a mixed greens salad instead of iceberg with turkey, ham, cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers and cranberries), Butternut Squash Soup at Wolfgang Puck Express DTD.

I had a much harder time finding things to eat at Universal Studio's and Islands of Adventures and keeping some variety. The main items they had were grilled chicken salad or rotisserie chicken.

Holy cow! 15 pounds down and 50% of the time on vacation??!! Way to go!!

Outstanding!! :D I've been stuck on a bit of a plateau lately -- clearly, the answer is to spend a week at Disney World! Off to pack my bags!

Wow - Great Job!!!

You did terrific on your vacation. I know last year I did well on a few of my shorter vacations (over long weekends) but I couldn't keep OP on vacation (and I didn't try).

I like the 1 treat a day. Keep up the fabulous job!

That is incredible ~ Luv the new clippie.

What a great job you did! Congratulations on losing 15 pounds and being on vacation on top of it all! I found eating SBD friendly at Disney was no problem as well. I was even able to order fresh off the grill burgers with no bun. Keep up the great work!

Losing weight at Disney is always an accomplishment! Congratulations!

Thanks for all the kind words. One of the best things about starting South Beach is that I was able to ride Revenge of the Mummy at Universal in Comfort with 2 clicks to spare. I still can't fit into Hulk or Dueling Dragon. That is my goal for next year. I have about two inches of belt room on the harness on Hulk and about three to four inches on Dueling Dragon.

Riding roller coaster is one of my favorite summer activities and losing the ability to ride them one by one encouraged me to start losing weight along with my brother also starting South Beach about a month earlier.

Wow, what an amazing accomplishment! Congratulations!

I'm glad you were able to enjoy Revenge of the Mummy, that ride is just too awesome to miss! I hope you are able to get on the others ones very soon! :)
