Just returned from room 429 at BCV any questions.

hey just had a great time at the BCV. They were great. the crowds were large on monday(9/16). also kept waking up in the middle of the night to a warm room.. something to do with that annoying sensor with the red light and that clicking noise. We had a great Epcot view. room 429 was a one bedroom with a lockoff.(room 427). had them both.. saw and heard fireworks and a lot of the music.. we were there from sunday(9/15) through tonight(9/20). also it was sooooo hot ..95 almost everyday. no lime green ribbons though ..twice the automatic doors by the beach club store did not work and we had to walk all the way around to the breezeway entrance.. any way glad to be back.. going again in jan... any ?????? dave

Hi fellow LI'nder..we are leaving Sun morning for BCV..WAS THINKING ABOUT REQUESTING THE 4TH FLOOR AS IT IS NEAR THE LAUNDRY & elevators..any ideas about the best studio location...Thanks Marianne

hi marianne. first of all. The 4th floor is a smoking floor I think. I know my room was. second we were close to the main elevators in the middle of the resort. I had a one bedroom with a studio lockoff so I did not need or look for the laundry, sorry. but the lockoff studio was number 427. and It had GREAT views of epcot . I recommend that.....dave

Dave, I am a new member. I have a one br reserved for April. Can you explain what you mean by a lock off room? Did you reserve a 1br and you got an extra room? What did you reserve? thanks.

Hi nydizfan! I thought maybe I was the only one that hated being woken up in the middle of the night. Playing the blanket toss game because I was hot only to wake up 15 minutes later looking for the blankets because I was cold was extremely annoying. I really disliked the red sensor thing. I would actually pick my arm up and swing it to get the airconditioner to kick back on. My husband was laughing at me. Of course, this annoyed him too. I don't like waking through the whole night playing the hot - cold game. Who was the crazy person to think of these things? Someone who likes to awaken through the night?? We had 334 (2 Br-Dedicated). Our view was of the quiet pool. The quiet pool was fairly crowded when we were there so the noise level was a little loud. Other than that we had a nice room too! About 4 or 5 rooms up from the elevator.

jillpie.. we reserved a 1 bedroom . my brother had a studio. we asked that he was near our room .. it was a suprise that he was connected to us through whats called a lock off..its just a connecting room with a door on the inside.

ok Dave, thanks. Boy, as a new member, I hate to hear anything bad about this place at all (heat sensor thing), but I know thats crazy...gotta hear it all, good and bad. But so far, thats about all I've heard that people don't seem to like. So thats not too bad.
