We just returned a couple of days ago from the Magic Palace in Windsor Hills so I only thought it right to give a review. The 5 bedroom house was great the kids loved the pool. The decorated rooms were better than expected and not plastic sheeting on the walls but rather painted hand made artwork. Here are some photos. I have posted some pictures of the house and a few of our 8000 pics on my facebook.Ill try to add some here

wow beautiful may I ask what the rate for this unit was? When did you go summer or spring looking to go in May and this looks awesome have any other pics of the unit?
:lovestruc Thanks

we paid 1800 for a week ( 7 nights) in June. Of course 5 bedrooms and 5 baths. Along with the nicest lady (Rita) to work with. Here are a few more photos. We were able to fit 12 people comfortably. The beds are a little firm but we were too tired to care. I found their site was the magicorlandorental dot com they are on the windsorhillsrent website too.

wonderfull....we were lookig at them also...so details .... how far from dis.. any rest? safe place to be? how long did it take to get to...anywhere..where on facebook?

I am not sure what the rules regarding facebook addresses are but the house was real close like 1.5 to 2 miles and closest to the Animal Kingdom park. The area was real nice with lots of near restaurants for breakfast and souviner shops if so desired. We bought DVC this time so wont be staying offsite again was just too removed in feeling immersed from Disney but for those that don't mind being offsite or have a large group. I noticed the disadvantage was They don't open the parking at Disney until a time after the onsite can get to the parks before offsite guest. I hated the ticket and transportation center which seemed geared toward offsite guest. Whereas onsite guest are dropped at the front of each of the parks. As for the house Its really close. We like being able to just hop on the Disney transporation and go as it is so easy to get turned around at Disney and one wrong turn and your lost or having to backtrack. Although the house was roomier than ever and had nice furnishings. The complex was guarded and secured like a fortress both in and out going. We had a great time but never offsite for us again nor will we ever go with 12 people :scared1:

Thanks for posting! We are staying here in October and it's great to read your experience.

Can't wait!

We are staying at the magic palace in June of 2011! I was wondering if you guys paid for the pool heat? Don't really think it would be necessary for June, but don't want to swim in a cold pool either! Your input would be appreciated!!

I've never stayed at the magic palace but I can say with certainty that only a freakish weather pattern would make it necessary to heat any Orlando pool in June.

We did not pay for the pool heat it was too hot in June. I would save the money. It feels hot enough during the day that wanting the hot tub in the evening is negated.

You should know the beds are a bit firm but this we got over from being so tired from the parks. Just might want to bring a memory foam topper if this would bother you

Thank you for the advice! We are driving down so I may throw a foam topper in the car!!
