Just Returned from great trip at POFQ

We stayed there for the first time (9/28-10/6) and loved this resort. We got there around 4:30 or so and had no lines. We had booked a double bed standard with the code that had come out over the summer so we were really surprised when the cm told us we had a king size room (you have to pay extra for those rooms) so we got an upgrade (I was celebrating my birthday and it was noted on the registration). We were in building 3 which was right next to the arcade and gift shop which happens to be right across from the food court. We met John (the pool side bartender) who happens to be from our state, RI, and he was great. My husband wants to go back just so he can go hang with John. :rotfl: If anyone is going down soon, tell John that "Rhode Island" says hi. That's how he remembers the guests. We had the best time. We did have some longer waits for the buses, mostly going to MGM I noticed and coming home late at night, they would do Riverside first (sometimes) and then POFQ. I guess it depended on the driver. I would definitely stay there again in a heartbeat. We walked over to Riverside twice and it was an easy walk (10 minutes tops). We also liked the boat ride to Downtown. All of the cm's at the resort were great. Don't forget to take some time to listen to the jazz player (can't remember his name at the moment) at Scats. He was great and he will ask your name so he can sing to you in front of everyone. Very personable.
