Just returned from DLR

I am going to get around to writing a TR in the next few weeks but I do have some initial thoughts on return.

1. I LOVE DISNEYLAND

2. Space Mountain/Ghost Galaxy is great.

3. I don't understand why people like Splash Mountain so much, IMO Grizzly River Rapids is much much better.

4. Churros.

5. Ariel's Grotto service was TERRIBLE

6. OH OH OH OH ALADDIN WAS WICKED!

Yes GRR is fun but people like Splash because you don't get totally soaked on it like you can on GRR. Plus it is a great classic Disney ride that your entire family can enjoy together.

I just returned too.
Had a great time.
Splash is completely different from Grizzly. Different experiences, stories and wetness. They are DD's 2 favorite rides.

We've never gone on GRR because we don't want to walk around in wet jeans all day and it closes down early every night.

MHP - Loved the scarecrows, treat trails moved fast, fantastic guest costumes

Alladin Show - GREAT

Frozen Sing-A-Long - prepared to be bored, but loved it because of Aria and Eric the actors that pulled everything together and DGD sang her heart out.

Fireworks and Paint The Night Parade - Spectacular as well as World of Color (first time for us)

Blue Bayou - Best meal we have had there in the many years we've been

Mickey's Ktchen Sink - at Clarabelle's, yummy and get to keep the sink

Special Cast Members - Natalie at Matterhorn, she found DGD's lanyard and grasiously added to pins to it
