Just returned from CSR for 1st time

The resort was very pretty and the pool was awesome. Our room was at a great location, Cabana 8A, however, I found that the cast members were not very polite, which put a damper on things. I expected smiling faces, but never saw any. The food court wasn't very good. I am sure glad that we had purchased meal vouchers, because if I would of paid full price for their steak dinner we would of been very upset.

Don't get me wrong our trip was wonderful and we all had a great time, but next time I think I will save the extra money and stay at an Allstar Resort. Already planning for another trip.

I agree with you about the CSR. It is pretty and the pool is great, but the food court is definitely a disappointment for me.

Could you post more about your disappointment in the Food Court? We are going to CSR in June. I already bought Vouchers. Was it the food quality that was disappointing? How do you compare the food quality to counter service food? We were thinking that we usually just eat a lot of counter service chicken and fries, but with the vouchers we would put more variety into our diet. We're not expecting gourmet food, but we do hope it's DECENT!!

We also had the same feelings. The resort was beautiful and we liked it but the pepper market was a big disappointment. We didn't like the food itself and it was a little more expensive than counter service at the parks.

The food just didn't taste well. It was just OK and for the money I guess I expected it to be better. The other thing my husband had gotten the taco salad and all it was was chips on the bottom and other stuff on top, not at all what we are used too. The chinese food they ran out of, which my son had wanted the bourbon chicken, but it would take another 35 minutes to cook so he decided to get the spicey chicken w/ oriental noodles, well the noodles were just regular noodles that the cook had walked over to get from the Italian place. The steak was very dry and my other son didn't even finish it. Most places only have 1 cook to help everyone so expect to wait a while in line.

Hopefully you will have a better experience than we did. Maybe it was because we went at a busy time?
