We just returned from a 5 night stay in a 1 bdr at the BWV. We booked late so only preferred views were left. We didn't specify a room and got 2027, which overlooked the canal and the bridge over to the Swan and Dolphin. This was the first time we had our room ready when we checked in. We loved it. We never heard anyone else the entire 5 days. We did see a cat one night run from one set of bushes to another. It was also a dedicated one bdr so we had an extra window where the door to the studio is usually located. They did come in and change out the wicker chair during our stay. I noticed that this took 3 days to completely change all of them out. Other than that, the room was in great shape. Scaffolding was up over the front of the building to the left of the entrance, all the way to the canal. It was also up by the Wyland Gallery. This is our 3rd trip since they began painting and they are certainly making progress. The parks were incredibly quiet, but it was terribly hot and humid. We went in May for the first time as I had a conference at Coronado Springs. We moved over there for an additional 4 nights. If I had it to do over again, I would stay after the conference, as I was way too spoiled after staying at the BWV. This was the first time since we became DVC members that we stayed in a resort. We used to stay in the moderates all the time and thought they were great. How your perspective changes after DVC. I complained every day about how much I missed the BWV.
