Does anyone know how long the boat ride is to DTD? Is it 15 or 30 minutes?

The boat ride is just over 20 minutes with a stop at POFQ.

My son and nephew in law played in the arcade a few times. I think its called "Medicene Show Arcade"
They seemed to enjoy it but the are video game junkies. They purchased a game card instead of tokens.

Can you tell me about the game card? Cost?

Question : Our reservation is for WaterView (with a request for Mansions) and my parents want to make sure they have a good view of the river. Any recommendations on buildings?

We have also booked a Water view room and are requesting Mansions as well. We will be requesting the building Magnolia Terrace as it is really close to the foodcourt and main building. The trouble is that water view can mean either a River view or a Pool view. We are going to call the resort about a week before we go and request that we get a River view!

DD and DH really enjoyed the arcade at POR. It is fairly large -- has old-fashioned pinball (my favorite!), airhockey, lots of the driving games, the cool interactive skateboard/surfing games, a variety of video games, and then some of the "try to win prizes" games - not the kinds with tickets, but the ones with little prizes inside that you win by pushing buttons. I think there was pop-a-shot, too. You could buy several levels of game cards at different prices.

Thanks for the positive review. We are going in December and it will be the first time on Disney property for most of the crew.
