The trip was great. We seemed to hit the weather perfect. The only rain we encountered was 1 day at Typhoon Lagoon. They temp closed the park at 3:30, so we decided to go back to the room since the park closed at 5:00 anyway.

The crowds definitely are down from this time last year. most attractions were walk on, any wait times were mostly 10 min, a couple were 20 min. This has not been the case during our prior two Sept trips.

Toy Story Mania is awesome. That was one of the few fastpasses we did. They hit a home run with this attraction.

Food quality seems to have gone down a bit at the table service restaraunts, but were still good to very good, but not wow. we (and our friends) were dissapointed in changes to the TS menu changes from past trips. Most notible was the lack of Filet on the menu at places like Brown Derby. We tried the revamped Teppan Edo. The food was excellent and plentiful. However, we were dissapointed that Miso Soup and Salad with Ginger Dressing weren't part of the meal. The meal at Teppan Edo seemed a tiny bit less magical.

The Wave at the contemporary was a fantastic meal. Highly recommend. It is a 1 TS point meal that rivals the 2 TS point meals at Brown Derby or Castle. This was by far our favorite meal.

Spoodles was great the first time we ate, fantastic food. The second time it was dissapointing. The order was wrong (no lemon in the Garlic Lemon Shrimp Linguine) and the food came out cold, pork and steak was dry.

The best part of our trip was our schedule. We hit the parks in the afternoon (usually not before 3 pm). This gave us the entire morning to enjoy ourselves at the resort. hitting the parks in the mid afternoon really took the heat out of hte day and was much more enjoyable for us.

MNSSHP was a ton of fun. DW dressed as Princess Fiona and i dressed as Shrek. we had good costumes and painted ourselves green. I think we were the only Shrek and Fiona in the park and we got tons of attention.

anyway, will try to post a more detailed report when i get the chance.

Hey Shrek,
WOW you lucky duck, 14 days in the world, what's better then that.
Sounds like an awesome trip, I have been heard wonderful things about the Wave glad you enjoyed it. Sorry about your culinary disappointments sometimes I don't know what Disney is thinking when the serve unappetizing or cold food :confused3
