Just returned--Contemporary Resort 9/28 - 10/5

Just returned from CR....had a WONDERFUL time.

Tower room, Magic Kingdom view, and WOW, what fireworks!!

Loved the location, loved the monorail, loved the view, loved the restaurants, loved the convenience!!!!

Not trying the get picky, but my ONLY complaint was the shower head (it needed replaced).

DEFINATELY will stay there again...in fact, I may not EVER want to stay anywhere else!!!!!

My husband and daughter (4 yr) feel the same way.

I'll answer any questions that are out there!!

It's been a long time (1997), but DH and I loved the Contemporary too. He'd stay there every time if we could!

Do you know if they were still moving people around b/c of the carpets on the bay view side? Did you have any problems with that?

I will be leaving next week to go there and am very excited.

We are treating ourselves to one night of the CR - will get into Orlando at 730 am at MCO and have two days for MK/Epcot before we head over to Universal. I finally bit the bullet and changed our ressies to a Tower Room - fiqured I am only there one night so what the heck. I am so excited - I am trying to get DH hooked so that the next time we go we will have at least 4-5 days to enjoy it. I have wanted to stay at this resort since my very first vist to Disneyworld over 25 years ago. They may have to drag me out! Wish the boys weren't so dead set on Universal because I would have stayed a couple of more days before our cruise. But hey I guess in the end I win since we are finishing off our vacation on the 7 day Magic. lol

I do know that they were switching out televisions and I did see them in two room on the bay side switching out carpets...
