Hours 11:00am-1:30am 7 days a week
Lunch served 11:00am-3:00pm
Dinner served 3:00pm-11:00pm
Bar Menu served all day.

Live entertainment starts at 9:00pm to 1:30am, with our Irish band and Irish dancer, who performs six nights a week. Live music with Paul Duffy 8:00pm-1:30am on Sundays.


I would suggest going Mon-Sat. Although I have never been there for Paul Duffy, he may be amazing, but the band and dancer are so much fun.

Thanks for the review! What time does the entertainment start at Ragland Road? I'm just wondering when to make our ADR's for in December. I wonder if the start time differs at different times of the year?

When we were there during our trip ( June 21 to June 27) the entertainment began around 9ish. Yet you made a good point-it may differ at different times of the year. Since it is not a Disney-owned place, I guess your best bet would be to call RR directly-definitely worth the call, in my opinion!

Did you have dinner at Kona? We will be trying it for the first time, what did you have? How was it?

Yes, we had dinner at Kona. The atmosphere was a bit hectic at first yet once we were seated in a corner table all was good! Here is what we had:

Lump Crab Cakes: Full of flavor with a delicious pineapple relish, our DS10 did not want to share his Crab cakes! QUITE GOOD!
Duck Pot Stickers: My DH really enjoyed these
Seafood Chowder: Being a New Englander (RI) I was pleasantly surprised!

Shrimp & Scallops: Not as good as “us New Englanders” get at home yet tasty and the sticky rice was actually very tasteful!
Char Crusted Filet Mignon: Incredibly tender and cooked just as asked with sweet delicate asparagus YUMMY
Coconut Almond Chicken: A little “sweet” for our taste yet grilled perfectly. The Asian greens with fresh fruit and almonds served on the side were delish!

None of the desserts "jumped out at us" and so we skipped this course. Yet the pressed pot coffee and the smoothies were quite good!

Tusker House: My son had coffee yet it was the best cup of coffee I have ever had! When talking with the CM, we were told they call it "POOP COFFEE." Intriqued, we asked why and he explained that the birds in the rainforest actually eat and "poop out" the beans which are then harvested. Don't know if he was pulling our leg yet it was the best cup of coffee i ever had! He went on to say we could check out the info online?

Lynninpa, thanks for all your answers! You know what's weird? Our minister last Sunday somehow worked the story of this type of coffee into her sermon! So, yes, the CM was right! It's supposed to be the most expensive coffee in the world. And who knew you could learn so much about coffee in church!

Sadly , I must also say it was worst food and most rushed of all the meals we had during our trip. Our meal was on July 4th. The server was nice but rushed us so much. My daughter was eating her last piece of flatbread when the server asked to take her plate. I looked surprised at the server and said…”She’s still eating!” Then the server left the table and our meals were immediately brought to our table. We were still eating our appetizers! The lady left with the plates. So, I guess they sat in the kitchen until we were ready to eat because they tasted like that.

lynninpa, I hope you enjoyed your trip! What did you have at Maya Grill, Pepper Market (I'm staying at CSR Aug. 9-19) and Tusker House?

Sorry it took a bit to get back to you all about The Pepper Market! ps We absolutely loved CSR!

Here is what we had:
-Chicken Quesadilla: Huge, fresh & yummy!! Although the beans & rice were nasty.
-Wet Burrito: Again, huge, fresh & yummy!!
Sampler from the Wok Kitchen: Bourbon chicken, stir fry beef with noodles & an eggroll. The chicken was ok but the beef was tough & dry. The only disappointing meal we had at the PM.
-Prime Rib: You are shown the piece for your “ok” which was cool. Absolutely delicious and the horseradish drizzle was soo good! It was served with the sweetest grilled veggies and a huge baked potato with various toppings-all as a CS on The DP!
Ribeye Steak: A bit thin yet grilled just as asked as quite good!
-Smoked Turkey Club Wrap: We got two of these “to go” for dinner at the airport. Huge with a ton of flavor. Came with cole slaw & chips.

Note: Most of the portions are HUGE and more than enough to share!

Desserts were limited on The Dining Plan: Assorted pastries, cookies and ice cream sundaes. One night we got plain vanilla ice cream in large cups to which we added rootbeer to make floats “to go!”

Ahhh, Raglan Road. Our new favorite Dining spot in Disney! Not a chocolate lover? Try Ger’s Bread & Butter Pudding!!

Seared Scallops: Perfectly prepared with a wonderful sweet corn relish and candied lemon. Delish!
Goats Town: One of the most delicious dishes I have ever had! A wonderful goat cheese lightly seasoned & “fried” and served with grilled crostini, a raspberry compote and fresh raspberries. Simply perfect!
Dalkey Duo: It was served in a fun way-on top of forks sticking up from a wooden plate. Not only was it “fun,” it was also quite yummy and the mustard dipping sauce was perfect.

Serious sirloin steak: Grilled exactly the way I ordered it & glazed with a scrumptious Irish whiskey glaze and drizzled with a very light basil oil. Although it comes with “plain”mashed potatoes, the server happily let me replace them with colcannon, a delicious dish of mashed potatoes, sautéed onion s, cabbage and bacon. YUMM!
Shepard’s Pie: RR twist is to make this with prime rib and lamb. This was the only dish I was disappointed in. It simply had no flavor and so I just nibbled a bit.
Paddy’s Pork: My DH enjoyed this so much that he ordered it both nights! It was the most flavorful and melt-in-your-mouth tender pork we had ever had! The sausage stuffing and the honey soy glaze were both fantastic yet not overwhelming. Wonderful!!
Salmon of Knowledge: I agreed with my DS-the best salmon we have ever had! And my son knows his salmon! He got the maple glaze on the side yet ended up loving it!
Fish & Chips: Nothing “fancy” yet cooked perfectly and served with a wonderful fresh tartar sauce.

Ger’s Bread & Butter Pudding: Oh, my! Heaven in a mug! In fact, it was sooo good that my DS and DH both ordered it again on our second night! The light warm custard and carmel sauces, served on the side for to die for. YUM!
Tiramisu Cheesecake: It was ok, a little dry yet then again I find most cheesecakes on the dry side.
Desset Sampler: Served in little espresso cups, there was a white chocolate mousse, a dark chocolate mousse and a Bailey’s Coffe Cream Pot-“Tiramisu with an Irish Twist.” My DH and DS patiently waited for me while I devoured evry last bite..

The “system” at The PM is easy. A host/hostess seats you and each person is given a “ticket” and a menu. Your server will then bring you your choice of drinks. When ready, you go to the various open-air stations and order what you like. The card is then stamped and you receive your food. Drink refills are brought to you and the tables are cleared for you. At the checkout, you simply hand them the card(s) and pay (or present your card if on the dining plan) 10% is automatically added (included if on the DP) unless you get your food “to go.”

My 10 yo son just loved Raglan Road! During our "early" dinner (5ish) there was a wonderful balloon guy who came around to the tables. He spent quite a bit of time with us chatting and laughing and making the coolest balloons-my son got Mickey Mouse on a motorcycle and he even made me a wrist corsage (sp?) and my DH a bunny. During our late dinner (9ish) my son really enjoyed the Irish band and the whole experience. As my son is 10, he ordered off of the adult menu-and absolutely loved the food, too! I have to agree with you about Ger's Bread 'n Butter pudding! We went there last Sept. for the first time and are returning there this Sept. I lucked out last year as they were out of large cups so I actually got 2 smaller cups of the pudding. So good....especially the butterscotch sauce. It was the same sauce my DD got with her nicey icey (now just called vanilla ice cream with butterscotch sauce.) She didn't like it but I thought it was "heaven on earth!" And the BnB that was leftover was pretty good the next morning for dessert!

How is RR for kids? Any kids menu?

They do have a great kid's menu. It's changed from when we were last there. In fact, even though my DD7 ordered the kid's chicken skewers, she actually got 2 large pieces of chicken that was delish!

We didn't see a balloon man but our ressies weren't 'til 8 p.m. on a Monday night. The entertainment was going on when we got there, and ended during our meal. I don't remember it starting up again while we were still there.
