Just rented points for BWV in October...Question!

So excited about our BWV stay! We have purchased a "preferred room" Studio. We know that this means we have a better view, but do we get to pick our room? Should we call and request the area we want to stay in? Does "preferred open up all areas of the Hotel (like the boardwalk view) or are they reserved for other people?

Preferred will be Pool/Garden view rooms. Boardwalk view is a separate booking category so you will not be able to request that. BTW, any requests must be placed by your DVC owner that you rented from. DVC will not speak to you directly, only the contract owner. Any other requests you want such as DDP will also have to go thru the owner.

BWV has 3 room categories:
Standard view
Preferred pool/garden view
Boardwalk view

You could ask the member to waitlist for the boardwalk view, the points are the same as preferred pool/garden.

We like pool view not too far from the elevators (BWV has some very long hallways). That wouldn't be a bad request.

Ask the owner to request "VIllage Green" view. These rooms face the grassy area between the BW balcony and the boat dock. They have a partial BW view. And they are very close to the elevators, pool and lobby. Since it is only a request, you will not be guaranteed this view but several people have reported success getting this request. Good luck! Scoring a room at BWV in October you have already been lucky

The studios are preferred views. There is a one bedroom next to the corner that is boardwalk view.

Nope..... garden view. We stayed in one in January.
