I actually attempted skydiving and succeeded on my third try.

First time, we were suited up, ready to go, walking out to the plane and we were told the fuel gauge was broken so the plane could not go up that day. Some people might take that as a sign... we rescheduled.

Second time, it was pouring rain and we waited a bit, but it never cleared so we couldn't go up. At this point, any normal person would probably say it wasn't meant to be and go get a cheeseburger... we rescheduled.

Third time, beautiful day, working plane, awesome instructors, great jump!
