Just received Disneyland PIN offer...

Hi,

I just received a PIN code offer for Disneyland Resort Hotels...looks like its for California residents. Valid for dates of travel dates: Aug. 23 - Sept 30. ("call for more rate, dates and package offers")

Of course, our travel dates are Aug. 19th thru Aug 23rd!

Rates are: Paradise Pier: from $139, DLH: from $149, and GCH: from $229

I seem to get these Disneyland PIN offers in the mail on a regular basis...and I have never been able to use them!

Yes, I have a similar PIN (which I can't use because I think the AP rates are a bit better)! They never do NorCal or Central Cal-specific discounts, but they sometimes do PIN offers for everyone nationwide.

Ours came in the mail back in May with the same dates/offer...I wonder why they're staggering them

I wonder if maybe they send the offers out to X number of people in one wave, and then if they don't get bookings for all of those PIN offers that went out in the first wave, they send out a second wave of offers to other people. I have not heard of a lot of people using these PIN offers this year, but last year there were a bunch of folks who used them, as I recall.

That's a good a guess as any. I still don't know what the rhyme or reason is as to who gets sent the PIN code offers in the first place.

I know it's got a lot of people on many different boards scratching their heads wondering how to get on that mailing list!
