Just received all the paperwork..

Just filled out all th paperwork. It took forever to sign all the Palm Trees and Disney Ears. My guide said to go ahead and book my trips, but I am afraid to do that til we are ? approved. Don't want to be disapointed just in case we are refused financing. I am very excited but a bit nervous also. I want to thank everyone here for all your advice. I wouldn't have made this commitment without all of your advice and knowledge... Marianne

I'm sure your guide would not have suggested that you make reservations unless he/she was SURE that you would be approved. They really do know from experience. Congratulations on your purchase and (almost) welcome home.

I have been signing all my Mickey ears and dating all my palm trees on my papers too. Just waiting for DH to get home early and go have the mortgage paper notarized. Hope its not rude to ask, but are you doing the financing through them? We are. On the credit application under expenses for "other" do you guys put things like electric, cable, phone? Just wondering? DH said dont put anything there. I did put in our mortgage and car loan in the appropriate spaces. Thanks.

Heck, I haven't even received my paperwork yet (should be today or tomorrow) and I've already booked our November trip. I didn't want to wait and risk missing out on the resort of my choice.

I signed all paperwork, sent it in, Disney took my deposit monies then I booked the next day. I went to VWL 2 weeks later. After I returned home they called and requested another 10% down before closing. Thank goodness I had the funds, and didnt spend them all while away!! So yes you can use your new membership right away even before official closing.
