NS of course, then I requested 50's 4th fl pool view. I figure 4th floor for lower noise levels also 50's quiet pool will probaly less noisy, but it still okks very close to food court. I hope we get our requests. We'll be there for two weeks and I really want everything to be perfect.

I have put in room request and have not received them. Summer is a busy season and they cannot always accomodate. Enjoy your trip, any room, building, or hotel in Disney you stay I am sure you will have a magical time.

I too am one who NEVER got a room requests! But really there are no BAD rooms at the POP. No matter which building you are in or on what floor..it will be great! :cool1:
Personally, I also have a little chuckle when people requests "views" any where on WDW property during the summer months. It's so HUMID that every window on site is drenched in condensation...and you can't see anything outside the windows.
However GOOD LUCK! :wizard:

If your looking for quiet....request a room overlooking the lake.

As far as room requests....I requested a room last year by sending in a fax with a map showing the room I wanted......I got it! Now, I know the room number and will suggest it again.

I cant tell you the room number though, NHBelle because I'll be there the same time as you.....and its in the 50's building!

:teeth:

We were in 50s building, 4th floor but facing the lake last March and never heard a thing from anyone. Facing the pool or the lake doesn't make much difference in distance to food courts, buses, etc. They are about the same distances.

By the way, I made all these requests when I booked the room and then I faxed my requests 3 days before our arrival. I got everything I asked for. Same thing when we stayed at POFQ in the summer of 2002.

What is the number to send a fax to POP? We're going in September and I want to make sure we get connecting rooms. THANKS!!

Most resorts are ignoring faxes nowadays since they used to be flooded with them. Your best bet is to call CRO and have them add requests to your reservation. When it comes time to assign rooms your requests will download with your reservation to the room controller. If the requests can be met, then they may be granted.

Thanks for the info--I'll do that. Should I do it now or wait til a few days before we leave?

We just returned a week ago from POP and had a 4th floor pool facing room in the 50's. You can hear people in the pool area if you have the TV off, but I enjoyed hearing everyone have a good time anyway. People were in the pool late every night, sometimes past closing time, but it never was a problem for us. If you want a quiet room request a lake view. Our friends were on the opposite side of the same building and they never heard any noise from the pools. POP is a great resort and we're trying to plan another trip before school starts! :) :)
