Just purchased VGF

I was given the fixed week point chart to keep. I am pulling this information straight from it.

Is it possible for you to scan and post it? Or email it to me? i can pm you my email if its possible :)
My guy is out of the office and not reachable for awhile.
Thanks!

We are in WDW, went for a tour of the VGF, very nice, looking to add-on. Can't wait to plan our stay!!

Same thing for us in Canada, but since I had flight credits, we've decided to head down for a 3 night non-park trip just to add on VGF. Now if only my guide could return my call so I can make sure he will be there when we are.

We just bought 160 points today. We can buy direct over the phone in Ontario unlike some unlucky Canadians (or lucky if you suffer from addonitis) who can't buy from their province. Member services was down but we are hoping to book for 4 days there on opening weekend since we already had a Disney Cruise booked that comes back on October 25!

Hi everyone! I am new here, but hubby and I are DVC BLT. We bought into BLT in 2009 and finally stayed there last week for two nights! We have used our points at several other DVC resorts but it was impossible for us to get into BLT since we travel with short notice (my dad, stepmom and sisters live in Orlando). While on the monorail we passed the VGF (Grand Floridian DVC, right?) It looked wonderful. It was the first time we had viewed the construction. If we had the money to add points we would seriously consider VGF. Congrats to you, OP! Welcome home! I look forward to the reviews from fellow members once it opens :)

If I had the money I would definitely buy my first contract at VGF... hopefully once the poly is for sale I'll be a neighbor! Congratulations tho!!!

If you plan your trips on short notice, then I'd avoid buying VGF. It's a very small resort that will likely be hard to get at seven months out for much of the year, so anything shorter than that might be impossible.

Sales must be slowing down. I added on another 50 yesterday around 1pm. Points were loaded by 4:30pm!

Added on at Grand Floridian this morning! Woot Woot

:cool1: Added three 50 point contracts of VGF (thank you Disboard for that information). Our current UY is Dec but we requested a spring UY, we received April. Points are already in account. Planning our first trip to VGF in Summer of 2014 as we already have our trip booked for this year. Excited to see the rooms when we are there in September.

Congrats!!!

Wow!
I thought I've read they don't let anybody get different UYs anymore...

We added on another 25 points at VGF today, for a total of 205 there.

I thought about adding more points as Canadian too. However, I also found out that Canadians will have to pay an extra 10% withholding taxes at the time of selling, in addition to 10-15% of commission. So the points need to appreciate by at least 25% in value before it's making sense. This tax is not applicable to American owners.

If selling DVC is no different than selling a condo, you will get the 10% back.
