Just ordered drive I-95 from Amazon

I'll let you know if it is worth it when I get it. I liked the website posted above with the dteails on exits- but I wanted something a little more detailed so I ordered the book. Might have been a waste of money- i'll see in 5 business days

I bought this for our drive down next month. The book is okay. The one thing I did like about it is that it lists all the hotels and restaraunts at each exit. There is some interesting little historical facts in the middle of the book also. I think that it will make a convenient resource on the road.

Kerry the restaurants is really why I bought it. I can't tell you how many times we have driven down with "when are we going to eat? what are we going to eat? can we get Mcdonalds? " I feel like at least I'll have some choices to fire back with instead of the old "Keep your eyes open"

We used this book too. I thought it was pretty good. I also made notes in it as we drove as to what exits looked good for stopping. Plus there were some new food places and hotels that we noticed that were not in the book.

We really liked knowing ahead of time what kind of food was coming up so we could plan our stops. To me it was worth the money. Plus with the notes we made it could be used for future trips!

Oh you get those questions too huh? Me too. My older kids are already looking in the book to pick out the good stops! Making notes in the book is also a good idea. I wish I had done that the last time we went down. We stopped at this little restaraunt off 95 somewhere in either southern NC or somewhere in SC, but I never noted the name or exit number. They had the best fried chicken I have ever tasted. The price was reasonable too. All i remember is there was nothing else around but a gas station across the street. My kids want to eat there again, so I have been scouring the book trying to rack my brain to remember the name of this place. I am hoping that when we are driving something will trigger my memory.
