First I must mention how grateful I am for this forum. Everyone here has been so helpful during my planning for this trip. My kids were shocked when we pulled up to the boat and Mickey called to tell them that they were going on a Disney cruise on the Wonder. The ship was beautiful and the staff was great. Our servers and stateroom hostess made the experience even that much more special. We did have a few disappointments during our 7 day journey, completely out of Disney's hands. We sailed through 2 days of rough water....One night of 11 foot seas according to the captain. It rained and was completely overcast for each of our port days. (Total bummer) Pirate night and Frozen night both got rained out. It was literally one thing after another. Disney did their best to make the best of things. They brought the pirate characters into the atrium for a dance party, which to me was rather boring, and they rescheduled frozen for night 6 and included the fireworks with that performance..... That was a special night for sure! Despite the rain and rough water, we still had the time of out lives and will hopefully be doing it again in the future. Is the Wonder about to get renovations, if so what will be changed? Will the Dream or Fantasy ever come to Galveston? We walked off the ship without dropping our comment card off! We were so distracted we completely forgot about it. Is it possible to mail it or do a survey online? And finally, I don't understand why we can't view and order our photos online. I never got around to looking at or ordering any pictures on the boat.

The Wonder will most likely get the same re-imagining that the Magic had - AquaDunk; changes in the kid's clubs at least. The stateroom upgrades were done prior to her Panama Canal cruise last spring.

I doubt that the Dream or Fantasy will go to Galveston. They couldn't fill the Wonder, and she's a smaller ship. DCL is only doing limited cruises out of there to fulfill a legal issue tied to them breaking their contract with Galveston earlier.

You can mail your comment card (with any additional notes on other paper) in to DCL.

You have to check your pictures onboard, there's no way to view them once off the ship.

Last December on the Dream we got stormed out on our Castaway Cay day. Captain tried 3 times to dock but couldn't do so safely. I was AMAZED at how quickly they had new navigators out and TONS of activities going. It was very impressive.

This will be our 3rd cruise out of Galveston next month and really do love it. Glad you had a good time.

We unfortunately missed meeting Captain Jack...the only character that we missed. So we thought we'd see him at the Til We Meet Again party on the last night. Davy Jones was there instead. Is that normal? I thought it was kind of weird and we were pretty upset that we missed Jack.
