Talked to Linus at Tickets and he checked my 5 day MYW tickets from UT and he said they are able to be upgraded. He said the only tickets that can't be upgraded are the ones you get from conventions, school groups and other deeply discounted tickets. I was the first person who had called in to ask about the rumor from Allears yesterday.

I hope this clears things up since I am going Saturday and it really had me scared since I had special days planned for the 2 extra days I will be adding

Did Linus mention price bridging? Thanks.

Sadly, I don't believe much of the info phone CM's give out. They are wrong far too often.

Thank you for taking the time to post this. Hope you have a great trip! :cool1:

Thank you so much. I believe the CM. I am about to buy a no exp ticket for me and my family (should've done it a year ago, would've saved $150 per ticket, learned my lesson)
My question is...do I have to use a day before upgrading them at Disney or can I upgrade them right away?
And I also second price bridging question. I'm saving $66 off gate price for this ticket, will they upgrade it as if I paid full price? Thanks

he told me that you have to use the ticket first then go to guest relations or any ticket place at Disney to add more days or upgrade. I saved money too and he told me you would pay for the days you need or upgrade at the new prices. for 2 days extra he told me it would be about 21 something.

Thanks for the well wishes. We are surprising the kids on Friday night and leaving staurday. DD thinks we are going to Gatlinburg for her clogging convention and then the next weekend she thinks she is going to Chattanooga with the youth group.DS thinks we will be watching sissy dance then stay at a cabin there and go to the aquarium too. I can't wait!!

Remember that policies are subject to change. Disney may not have changed the official policy yet. CMs must pass along current policy, even if there is an advisories for future changes.

Many times it is not what the CM doesn't know, but rather can not say.

gonna upgrade the first day so I wont have to worry about it later in the week. I will also call the day before I use the tickets to make sure so I don't waste a day.

Yes, use one admission. And yes, if the CM doing the upgrade knows how to do a bridge. Know your numbers ahead of time. If not correct, ask for a supervisor, or walk, and get another CM some time later.

And just take the info from a phone CM with a grain of salt. Sometimes they can be a step up from bus drivers when it comes to delivering correct information.
