Just off the Magic

What do they do when excursions are cancelled or you can't dock? Do you get your money back for the excursions you planned, I would hope? Or do you pay for them at the time they happen? I'm still a little confused on how that all works.

Will be going on the magic in January, happy to hear that you enjoyed the ship!

We were unable to dock on Castaway Cay, due to strong wind and currents (The captain made a couple of attempts, but made it an extra sea day mid-morning). Talk about a bummer!

The Magic is our favorite.

We have had that happen before...and in October 2014 on the Fantasy and were able to dock but it was cold and poured down rain all day long. We had a deck 10 stern cabin and were not even able to go out and sit under the long overhang as water was so deep and the wind was blowing it in sheets across the balcony. Some of the crew said only groups of teens braved the day on CC. We really felt bad for the crew who were moving food and supplies in that mess.

We will be back on the Magic in May so hopefully the weather will be better.
