PTA of 1130. On board at 1130.
Only upgrade offered was below the level we already had.
Did the Baths through Disney on Tortola. Great excursion. But, if at all possible, take the morning trip. Gets too crowded for afternoon. I heard the pm couldn't do the caves because they were too crowded.
Magnens Bay in St. Thomas. Beautiful, beautiful beach. If you want a relaxing day at the beach, then this is for you. But, very little to do other than sit on the beach and go in the water. Very little to look at in the water. No surf.
Did Jet Skis this year at Castaway. I would do it again. Saw 2 nurse sharks, a ray, starfish, conch shells. Pricey but what isn't at Castaway.
Did a sunrise yoga class, fab abs, and a spin class. All worthwhile. Wanted to do the yoga class on Castaway but couldn't make the timing work.
Did the rainforest room for couples. Not sure will ever do it again, but enjoyed it this time.

I was thinking of doing the rainforest room for couples. What was your experience like?

We just got off the same cruise and did the Baths excursion. We were in the afternoon and did the caves. It did not seem too bad to me. It was great!

We love the Rainforest Room on the Dream class ships. There are several showers (water features), heated loungers, a couple of hot tubs, 3 different sauna room (dry, wet and in-between). It is co-ed. The showers are not for bathing. Be sure and wear your swimsuits. Each shower features, different temperatures, lights and sounds.

Was Magens Bay crowded? We are thinking of avoiding it due to the fact that several large ships will be in port when we are there. We would go to a different beach. I have 2 little ones and don't like the idea of a crowded beach while trying to keep an eye on them in the water.

We went to MB with 3 other ships plus the Fantasy and it was definitely less crowded than beaches in California and Hawaii. There are also no waves crashing so it's easy to keep an eye on kids, not to mention it's very shallow. I'd go for it!
