We had a great cruise. I thought the food was very good-with one exception which was the Welcome Aboard buffet. (We thought it was aweful.) The shows were very good. But please note that it gets cold in the theater. Also, some of the restaurants were cold , so bring a sweater. The service was fantastic. we did Palo's for brunch, well worth it. They showed the new Hannah Montana movie. Kids were so happy. The water on Casta Way Key was really cold. I have to say this was our 5th Disney Cruise but this was our best yet. we loved it. We stayed in 7108, and loved the balcony. The cruise Director , Christian, was excellent.Any questions please feel free to ask. If anyone is debating because of the money, I understand , it is very expensive but I for one think that it is well worth it. I realize that my kids are only young once.

Did you stop at St.Croix and if so what did you do, what did you think of it?

no, we went to Mexico, Grand Cayman, Key west, and Castaway Cay.In Mexico, we swam with the dolphins at Dolphanaris. Key west we went to the Pirate museum(cheesy-lol), and we parasailed in CC.

We were on the same cruise and I completely agree about the Welcome Aboard buffet. We were not at all impressed. I was so worried, but thankfully every meal after that one was fabulous!

This was our first Disney Cruise and it was beyond wonderful. My mom and my mother-in-law were our guests (early mother's day presents) and enjoyed themselves tremendously, too. Of course my kids had nothing to complain about all week either....

My mother-in-law is a very seasoned cruiser and has been on just about every ship except the QE2. She readily admits that she was prepared to "suck it up" but in the end declared DCL to be within her top 3 cruises of her life. I'm afraid to try another cruise line now....

Glad you enjoyed yourselves. And do have to agree with the welcome buffets....leave quite a bit to be desired. The rest of the food has always been very good though. :)
