Having done both Norway 9 night Fjord on the Magic and Mexican cruise and Caribbean cruise (Magic and Wonder). I would take Norway over either. We went June 20 and the weather was cool in most cases, so if you are wanting to be in a location where you can enjoy the Sun and be swimming. Norway might not be for you, but if you want breathtaking scenery and adventure, then Norway. The cost is much higher and even the port adventures are much more expensive, but we figure it was a once in a lifetime adventure.
I would do Alaska again in heartbeat. While I loved Norway, I think the choices of excursions were much better in Alaska. Now DCL is new to Norway and that will get better over time. Nice thing about Norway is none of the ports were loaded with typical cruise ship shops.. (Diamond international, etc) like in Mexico or Alaska.
Our 9 night cruise did not sell out and weeks before they were offering Restricted Gurantee rates. You also had to pay in full 120 in advance. This cruise was expensive so that is probably why it did not sell out.
Did Norway this past Summer. Enjoyed it....it was very, very pretty but also having done Disney in Alaska, that is my favorite, hands down. You really can't go wrong with any Disney cruise!
Either way, you will have a good time!
