We just got off our B2B cruise on the Dream (number 8 and 9) and my immediate take aways were as follows:

1. Other than a short shower on Nassau the second cruise...........the weather was great.
2. Concierge on this boat was wonderful. Our DD had the best time and the concierge hosts made the trip great for her each and every day.
3. The character Halloween party was great for the kids and adults but we didnt care much for the Halloween tree "lighting" show.
4. Remy is still unbelievable but Palo brunch is still our favorite.
5. The spa was wonderful as always.

Hope you all had a great week while we were gone. LOL

We stayed in 12504 and had cabana 2 and 3, so if you have any questions.................let me know.

Could you tell us about your B2B procedure on the turnaround day, please? Time of debarkation/reboarding, etc?

We got off the boat a little after 9 and customs was long but was moving. We went right up to the check in but the desk is not open for check in until 9:30. We were concierge but the that desk was not open so we checked in the the regular castaway member desk and then they had to walk us over to the concierge area to print the keys.

I think we got back on as soon as customs cleared to boat around 10:30ish because I think i remember seeing the first few people coming into the port for check in. We had the same room both cruises, so we went right to the room to drop off our passports and such and then to the lounge for tweeking of our itinerary and drinks.

Not too bad. For us, it is definitely worth it to get Castaway Cay 2 days.

Any other questions, let me know.

Hi we are doing a B2B next year on the Dream! We are doing a 3 followed by 4 since we figure things are just generally more hectic the shorter the cruise. Did you feel that for most passengers that the 3 day was more rush rush rush than the 4 day? Obviously you can only assume since you had 7 days. Also, did you keep your same dining team or did you prefer to mix it up or did you want to change the dining rotation from cruise to cruise?

Did you feel like there were more meet and greet times than previously? (CM's had been talking about more face time with characters to make up for no more signings.)

Yes, More character meet times than I remembered. I think there were ticketed princess meets on two days on each cruise and lots of character meets all over

the 3 day definitely feels more rushed than the 4 day portion. Since the Halloween stuff was going on, that had to be crammed into the 3 day cruise where it seemed less hectic on the 4 day.

We have the same dining team every time we go on the Dream because we request them and they dont disappoint. Our 2 year old DD loves them and they make sure she has whatever she needs to eat...........even if it is not on the menu.

Our rotation was AEER on the first cruise and was ERA no the second. We went to Remy on Pirate night the first cruise and Palo on Pirate night the second cruise.

Random questions.. what prompts one to book B2B cruises versus just doing 1 seven night cruise? Is it more affordable? And if so by about how much? Just curious.

Sometimes a 3/4 night B2B can be less expensive than a 7 night. Sometimes the 7 night will be less expensive. It also has to do with the actual dates of any given B2B combo vs a 7 night.

We find the B2B offers the following benefit:
1. price has always been lower on dates we have cruised.
2. you get credit for 2 cruises instead of 1.
3. we get to stop at Castway Cay twice instead of once. This is a much better option for us port wise vs say a Jamaica with our 2 year old DD.
4. you have the opportunity to book 2 future cruises.

once our DD gets older, we will probably shift to the 7 day cruises but for now..............it is a great option for us.

We are thinking about doing a B2B next Fall since we will be going on a 4N cruise with my DD and her family. We feel 4 days is too short, so we are thinking about adding a 3N to the tail end for just DH and I. We'll see what happens though, because we plan to go to WDW before the 4 nighter. The thought of visiting CC twice sounds great!

getting the same stateroom for both cruises makes it very convenient.

On the 3 night was the Halloween party 2nd night then 3rd night Pirate Party? This is our 1st 3 day and 1st on a holiday. Does Adults get tickets for the MG or just kids? Thanks we leave in 4 days. :)

Seems like I remember the halloween party is around 3:45 and lasts an hour or so...............I dont remember it going into the night per se.
