Hubby just arrived in Orlando moments ago for a business conference. He is staying at the Marriott World Center that is just "outside the gates". Not until now (when I looked up the hotel on Google Maps) did I come to realize how close he is to everything at WDW! He wanted me to come but unfortunately I am in nursing school and can't miss classes. UGH!

I know there could be worse things but knew you guys would understand my... jealousy! Thanks for letting me vent and for your sympathy!

I go to a conference that is hosted there and the Gaylord every January. It sure is close to the world. Even such, I stay at my DVC and drive back and forth to the conference. No way I am going to be that close and not be IN the world.
Sorry your aren't with your dh now. It is a bummer to miss out. Just take this time to plan your next trip.

Oh so sorry your missing the trip!

Awesome of you to be dedicated to your nursing program. My little Sis is in her first year right now so I understand how demanding it is.

Just think when you are done you guys will get to have plenty of trip to the world. :)

My DH goes to the World on business several times a year and usually stays at the Swan/Dolphin. He'll call and say, "We're having dinner at O'Hana tonight!"
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...............:headache:

My work used to take me to Orlando from time to time. I was never told my wife that I went over to WDW every trip and had dinner at least once. No use rubbing it in to her. I almost felt guilty going to WDW...almost. ;) I did enjoy taking business colleagues over there and see their jaws drop at the WL lobby or when they saw the Boardwalk area. Like many people, they usually thought WDW was pretty much Magic Kingdom and that's it.

But, like I said, I never mentioned my visits to my family. Of course, if they asked me, I didn't lie either. :)

I won't lie... Everytime I do business in Florida we tend to find a reason why I need to stay around a few days to see WDW. The DW and kids usually meet up.
