for my mom and dad, please..

They're stuck in ATL right now, AC flight to YYZ this morning was cancelled, and they're a little rattled.

Got them on the 12:30 flight, and booked accomodations for tonight in YYZ...because there's no way they're getting out of TO today for NB...flights are FULLY overbooked..

...but managed to get 'em on one tomorrow..

Ugh.

I know AC is dealing with chaos...but help me understand why no wheelchair assistance for them anywhere (Mom has her own chair - it's on their file, and they need it - even just getting up and down the jetway, no one would/could assist)

And why the agent hung up on me - oops, we were "disconnected" - when I asked??

Anyway...they're going to get home, just going to take longer than they - and I - would like..

Next time, I go get them! LOL!!

And thanks Scratch - sadly, I think we've yet to complete a trip through YYZ without some kind of stay-over, luggage hassle, or complete systems breakdown

If we're going, it's gonna be an adventure!!

This will be their first through the new Terminal 1, though - and I'm not even there to "adventure" it with them! LOL!

It's all good - they've had a great winter Snowbirding

Some airlines just attract trouble, I think, and AC is at the top of my list for that...
