Once again, up and out of the room and at the south depot around 8:10, arrive a MK at 8:35. We are the second and third people thru our turnstile. Park is not as crowded as it was at opening on Saturday, we are the second boat on Splash Mountain, and we did not even run! Rode SM 4 times in a row, then Pirates, then headed to Buzz. Sign said 20 minute wait, were on in 5 minutes, rode it twice then headed to Fantasy Land. My daughter was sad the Cof P was closed, and the Timekeeper. She liked both of those. Got FPs for Peter Pan and got in line for Dumbo. This was the only ride that the posted wait was true all day. It said 30 minutes, and that's how long we waited! Got off in time to watch The Sword in the Stone show, then did Peter Pan (my favorite in Fantasy land). Had lunch at the Harbour House. My chicken/pecan salad was DRENCHED in dressing, I kicked myself for not ordering the dressing on the side. Did Haunted Mansion (posted 40 minute wait, waited less than 15 minutes, FP machines were covered up), my daughter's second favorite ride after Splash. I think this is the ultimate Disney ride...you can ride it a million times and still notice different things. On this trip, we noticed the dead guy under the table (just his legs sticking out). Stopped at Splash to get a FP and then headed over to Tom Sawyer Island. Spent an hour here. Got lost in one of the caves with a family from Britain. This place is one of the most enjoyable spots in Disney, IMO, it is shaded and there is room to roam for the kids and PLACES to SIT for the adults! After the island, we stood by the bridge just into Adventure land and watched the Parade. The snow globes are very neat and the music did not stick in our heads the way "Remember the Magic" did (oh jeez now it is in my head again!). After the parade we headed to Aladdin. Can I say that I am very disappointed in this ride? There is no great view like you get with Dumbo, and the camel (yes, there is only ONE) that spits is really pathetic. Went back to Splash, rode it and got another FP (this time for riding it in the DARK!!!), then took the train to Toontown. We had not spent much time here before, since we were always with the older two in our previous trips. This was probably the most unexpected fun we had all trip. We both got such a kick out of Minnie and Mickey's houses. Disney cleverness at its best. Minnie's fridge was outstanding!!!! We did some shopping in the big tent and rode Goofy's barnstormer twice. My daughter was a little disappointed that the water was not on for Donald's boat, but she had fun just the same. We caught the last train back to Frontierland, and ended the day the way we started...riding Splash four times in a row!! It was especially cool to be on Splash Mountain watching the fireworks go off! We got a great picture of the two of us in the front row, both with big smiles and our arms up (okay, one of my arms is up, the other has a hold of her fanny pack because I am neurotic about her falling out of the boat!). We took out time walking out of the Park, saw another goodnight kiss, and headed to the bus, both wishing we did not have to leave!
