Is there a way to have a minister officiate our vow renewals and then have a dinner at hubby's favorite restaurant(CANADA Le Cellier) with a special small Disney wedding cake? I was thinking of then taking the illumination cruise? I would love to surprise hubby with a vow renewal but don't want a huge affair? Is there anyway that Disney would do this? Is this just too small for Disney? I don't care where we do the actual renewal (inside , outside)There are only the 5 of us going on this trip (Hubby, Daughter 13, son 14 wheelchair needed for him so where ever we did this would need to be handicapped accessiable and daguther 13 months and ME!! ). What do you think? Whom would I talk to? Thanks so much in advance. If it can't be done at Disney World we will also be spending a few days at Vero Beach.

Yes, Disney will do exactly that. If you want to be close by to Canada, you can choose a ceremony at the yacht club gazebo, or the gazebo thats between the boardwalk and the Epcot Gateway.

Go to the disney wedding site and you can see what's included for the price.

They do a lovely job!!!!

And if FTW turns out to be to $$$ you can book a VR at the Swan, then still do your dinner at Canada and then the Illuminations cruise.

Feel free to ask any questions!

Glad to see someone else out there bringing the kids for their vow renewal. I'd like to renew our vows on our 10 year anniversary this coming April. When I talked to my husband about it, he said we couldn't go without the kids (will be 7 and 2). Even though I would like it to just be the two of us, I want the kids there too. So we would like to renew at the Poly - the guys in linen shorts, barefoot, me and the "flower girl" in little slip dresses. Then afterwards, just a nice dinner and cruise. We would like to have a wedding cake, but nothing else.

And there would have to be a birthday cake too. My anniversary is April 8, 1995; my son's birthday is April 7, 1998. He'd be devastated if he didn't have a special day too!

We will be at the Poly in October. I'm planning to talk to them at that time. Or am I waiting too late to plan????

Since you have a particular date in mind, I would go ahead and call now. When you go in October, you most likely won't be able to see your coordinator in person anyway, so go ahead and get started with email and phone calls.

They will send you the info, the planning packet, and a number of things you will need to make decisions about.

Sunset Point at the Poly is so beautiful! And you can take pictures afterward on the beach in the sand.

Good luck with your planning and feel free to ask any questions.
